Final stretch for the EVIDENT consortium

February 3, 2016

From 21 to 22 January 2016 the EVIDENT consortium came together for its 2nd Progress Meeting at the St. Hilda’s College in Oxford (UK) which provided a dignified setting for the EVIDENT group.

The meeting was dedicated to present, discuss and evaluate the work progress achieved since the last project meeting in Rome in the scientific, management and dissemination work packages of the project. As the EVIDENT project will end in October 2016 the meeting in Oxford also set the path for the last months of the project duration. The EVIDENT partners debated the work still before them and the next steps towards future planning. The final project meeting is scheduled for October 2016.

The Consortium was very pleased to welcome the EVIDENT Scientific Advisor, Prof. Anne Johnson (University College London) as well as the Project’s Ethics Advisor Dr Elizabeth Coates (Public Health England), who had kindly agreed to join the meeting.

At the end of the meeting, Prof. Anne Johnson shortly summarized her impressions on the project’s progress, particularly pointing out the high-impact results achieved so far.
