IMBB back-to-back lectures

Following the EVIDENT Final Meeting, which is currently taking place at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology (FORTH-IMBB) in Heraklion (Crete), the EVIDENT coordinator Prof. Stephan Günther (Bernhard Nocht Institute for Tropical Medicine) and Prof. Miles Carroll (Public Health England) will give lectures on their research at the FORTH-IMBB on Friday, 7^th October 2016, at noon.

Prof. Miles Carroll will start with the presentation titled "Ebola: Sequencing, vaccines and survivors", continued by Prof. Stephan Günther’s talk on "European Mobile Laboratory project: outbreak response and operational research". Their insights will mainly be based on the article “Real-time, portable genome sequencing for Ebola surveillance”, which was published in the Journal Nature this year.
