EVIDENT 1st Progress Meeting held in Rome, Italy

April 27, 2015

From 22 to 23 April 2015 the EVIDENT consortium came together for its 1st Progress Meeting in Rome (Italy) to discuss the project’s scientific progress and further collaboration. The meeting was hosted by project partner Istituto Nazionale Malattie Infettive L. Spallanzani (INMI) in its premises in Rome.
The EVIDENT Scientific Advisor, Prof. Anne Johnson (University College London) attended the project meeting on a consultative level.

The two meeting days were dedicated to the work progress achieved during the first 6 months of the project. All consortium members presented their scientific, dissemination and management results and the project progress up to date was extensively discussed. In addition, the EVIDENT consortium particularly debated the work still before them and the next steps towards future planning.

The project meeting in Rome was a great success and gave all partners the opportunity to discuss and address the progress and challenges within the different work packages of the project. It also enabled vivid and fruitful discussions in small groups among the consortium members.
